Additional steps to make Chrome Safer while browsing.

1) Disable pop-up & redirects in chrome.
Open Settings > Privacy and security > Site Settings.
Under Site Settings, click on “Pop-ups and redirects.”
In “Pop-up and Redirect” section:
There is a setting of “Default Behaviour.”
Chose the option “Don’t allow sites to send pop-ups or use redirects”
FYI : You can also customize the setting by choosing the website on which you want to allow pop-up.

2) Disable Chrome background apps from running when Chrome is closed.
Open Chrome settings
Then chose the option “System”
Disable the option “Continue running background apps when Google Chrome is closed”

3) Disable permissions for Camera, Mic, Notifications & Location.
Open Settings > Privacy and security > Site Settings.
Under Site Settings,
There are permissions for various categories
Tap on Location, Camera, Mic & Notifications individually & chose the option “Don’t allow sites”
